Welcome to PDMEC KKTM Kemaman


Plant Design and Modelling Excellence Centre (PDMEC) is an Industrial Centre of Excellence (ICoE) was established at KKTM Kemaman in 2016. The focus of its establishment is to provide skill development training related to the usage of high technology in the fields of oil, gas and petrochemical, to produce skilled workforce in the industry.


PDMEC is focused on preparation of training involving the use of softwares related to plant designs. Softwares that are used in PDMEC are AVEVA PDMS, AVEVA BOCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D, Bentely AutoPIPE, Bently SACS and the latest Intergraph Smart 3D (SmartPlant 3D, SmartMarine and Smart Material Handling). PDMEC trainings can be run full time or part time depending on demand and conducted by the competent and experienced KKTM Kemaman lecturers.
